Skin was skin and not punishment. Truths and desires were concealed in a hidden body. There would be no lightness in the world as long as there was a siege of lacy cloth between bodies and feelings. Let them remove the springs, the lace, the supporting fibers and the usual ties. Let them do it without walls and fashions. Let them not. And the mountain range at the highest point of its freedom would thank them.
