Não sei se foi
Do teu olhar
Ou da ausência.
Não sei se foi
Da presença
Na minha atenção
Ou da inibição
Em atear este fogo.
Continuo à espera
De não saber tudo
Mais do que não sentir
Nada.
I don’t know if it was
your gaze
or the absence.
I don’t know if it was
the presence
in my attention
or the inhibition
to kindle this fire.
I keep waiting
not to know everything
rather than to feel
nothing.

Vigília n.º 3
Somos um princípio delicado.
Começamos sempre por tentativa-erro:
olhar, gesto, palavra.
Muitas vezes é a limitação
que nos obriga a inventar
uma forma
e uma linguagem própria
de dizer e de ver.
Talvez por isso,
quando o caminho se torna incerto,
o gesto mais seguro
seja regressar à origem.
Vigil No. 3
We are a delicate beginning.
We always begin through trial and error:
looking, gesture, word.
Often it is limitation that compels us
to invent a form
and a language of our own
for saying and for seeing.
Perhaps for that reason,
when the path becomes uncertain,
the safest gesture
is to return to the origin.

ortografia íntima
habituei-me a ler-te o interior
intimate spelling
I have grown accustomed to reading your innermost self
as if it were a swing that sways between
the words spelled out in full and
the childhood of the language with which you make me guess
the vowels and consonants that would fill the missing gaps
were they not tied to your heart.

Can I lock the experiences that traumatised me in soap bubbles and pop them when necessary?
In such a way that the wind blows the slime traces in the opposite direction?
A thousand percent and with the greatest joy!

Until I find the right imperfection to tell you what only music can, I secretly dabble with other arts, that deception for predators of beauty, in perfect silence.

Morno e Pleno
O corpo cede.
Sente.
A respiração aprofunda.
Toca cantos esquecidos.
Íntima.
Quente.
Um toque que percorre por dentro.
A luz filtra-se, âmbar.
Sombra que abraça.
Tudo se torna morno.
Pleno.
O corpo rende-se.
O mundo espera.
Warm and Full
I like the time of year when the days get shorter.
Summer pulses on the skin.
The first rains slide down the shoulders.
The body yields.
Feels.
Breathing deepens.
Touches forgotten corners.
Intimate.
Warm.
A touch that runs through the inside.
The light filters through, amber.
Shadow that embraces.
Everything becomes warm.
Full.
The body surrenders.
The world waits.

Walking, a gentle dance between what is seen and what is felt -
between the root that supports and the heart that flies.
There's no hurry here, just time whispering slowly,
without rushing, without hurting what needs to bloom.
The moment is lived and honored, whole, without asking permission.
Firm steps are the pact sealed within -
Lightness is the lap where one tries to nestle, in this dance, the life that pulses.

Fomos construídos com tempo e pelo tempo. Vê-me. A mim.

Mal a percorríamos
Com passos acomodados
Ouvíamos pelas suas frestas
É preciso deixar estalar a cal
The house was the place of peace and storm
The clearest light
Started to decline
Though the silent corridors
All voices were narrowed
Between the walls of memory
We barely walked it
With comfortable steps
We heard through its cracks
It’s necessary to let the lime crack
It’s necessary to let the portraits die
The house was the longest place of detachment
