Juntamente com um livro inocente e ridículo
No fundo
Pendurei-lho no braço e meti-a numa carruagem
De segunda classe
Disse-lhe para não voltar.

I took her by the hand on the train platform

I bought her a ticket from an automatic machine
One-way and without validation
I gave her a bag I bought in a regular store
Of convenience
Where I kept all her imperfection
Along with an innocent and ridiculous book
At the bottom
I hung it on her arm and put her in a carriage
Second class
I told her not to come back.
