A vida é para engolir toda de uma vez
Em cada dia
Ficas com uma enorme indigestão noturna
A criar úlceras no estômago
E sucos ácidos que tentas processar no fígado
Tomas um copo de água cheio de sais de fruto
De manhã
E transformas tudo num poema
Que expulsas pela boca.


Gastroenterology

Life is to be swallowed all at once
Each day
You get a huge indigestion at night
Creating stomach ulcers
And acid juices that you try to process in your liver
You take a glass of water full of fruit salts
In the morning
And you turn it all into a poem
Which you expel through your mouth.
