Somos um princípio delicado.

Começamos sempre por tentativa-erro:
olhar, gesto, palavra.

Muitas vezes é a limitação
que nos obriga a inventar
uma forma
e uma linguagem própria
de dizer e de ver.

Talvez por isso,
quando o caminho se torna incerto,
o gesto mais seguro
seja regressar à origem.

We are a delicate beginning.

We always begin through trial and error:
looking, gesture, word.

Often it is limitation that compels us
to invent a form
and a language of our own
for saying and for seeing.

Perhaps for that reason,
when the path becomes uncertain,
the safest gesture
is to return to the origin.
