Mansardas
Quartos de mansarda têm tectos baixos
Inclinados como o meu pensamento
E neles ouvem-se bem as tempestades
Ficam no último andar de hotéis antigos
E graníticos sem varandas para o mar
Quartos de mansarda têm cadeirões
Abandonados e vazios com a forma do teu corpo
Junto a janelas exíguas com cortinas curtas
Quartos de mansarda têm camas por desfazer
Amantes ausentes e noites longas
Ficam mais perto do céu
Com virgens assexuadas
E analfabetos do amor como hóspedes
Dos quartos de mansarda avistam-se
Anjos caídos nos telhados das cidades
Porque perderam as asas.
Mansards
Mansard rooms have low ceilings
Sloping like my thoughts
And in them you can hear the storms
They're on the top floor of old hotels
And granitic with no balconies overlooking the sea
Mansard rooms have armchairs
Abandoned and empty with the shape of your body
Next to small windows with short curtains
Mansard rooms have unmade beds
Absent lovers and long nights
Are closer to heaven
With asexual virgins
And illiterate lovers as guests
From the mansard rooms you can see
Fallen angels on city rooftops
Because they've lost their wings.

É demasiado ruído incessante que somos obrigados a escutar dia após dia, nesta loucura, nesta cidade submersa de uma imensa alucinação.
It's too much incessant noise that we are forced to listen to day after day, in this madness, in this submerged city of an immense hallucination.

I see myself in the translucent complicity between the dew and the morning, peacefully circulating among flowers, beliefs and daydreams. I survive in this illusory space between life and death, subscribing myself every minute in my little world of perverted maturity. I laugh at everything and nothing.

SOBRE MUDAR
Por vezes,
ficar, permanecer, lutar
é o maior desafio.
ABOUT CHANGE
Sometimes,
to stay, to remain, to fight
is the greatest challenge.

Pode o tempo girar,
retorcer os ponteiros e não parar.
Pode o tempo inventado
nas linhas de um poema,
ser o cadáver indolente,
invertido e só,
no espelhado da morte.
Fingidor.
O tempo pode tudo,
do sagrado ao profano,
da criação à destruição...
É dele a finitude.
A in(submissão)...
Essa é minha.
[May time turn,
twist the pointers and don't stop.
May the invented time,
in the lines of a poem
be the indolent corpse,
inverted and lonely
in the mirror of death.
Pretender.
Time can do anything
from the sacred to the profane,
from creation to destruction...
All endings belong to time.
The in(submission)...
It's mine.]

Que se afoga na fonte da vida.
Que ironia líquida.

Liquid irony that is.]

Da janela onde habito há peixes de muitas cores. Há areia branca. Há vários tons de azul. E há silêncio, um silêncio de mar, que guardo tão devagarmente quanto a vontade de o levar até ti.
