Um corpo integra gestos novos
quintais abrem espaço
raízes e sementes pertencem-lhe
presença palpável
soberania
o corpo fala

A body integrates new gestures
backyards open up space
roots and seeds belong to it
palpable presence
sovereignty
the body speaks

O tempo desliza devagar pelo corpo.
Agarra-se à pele.
Quer ficar.

Time slips slowly through the body.
It holds on to the skin.
It wants to stay.
